Home Game against AEDMHA
A tough game last Saturday the 27th for LL2 ends in a 2-1 win for AEDMHA.
A couple of great saves from our starting goaltender Dex (30) with defense on full force, a penalty for each team, leaves the 1st period scoreless.
Barely into the 2nd period, AEDMHA scores off a rebound. Storm receives a penalty and Arran-Elderlsie pours it on. Preston Ritchie (6) does a great job in front of our net killing the penalty.
With smooth moves from our defense, Zac Vanhaelemeesch (15), Curtis Bender (4) kept pouring the puck into the opposition's end, Nathan Vanmyall (7) battling in the corners and keeping the puck under his control and Tyler Bamford (20) for keeping the puck in the other's end. Brilliant saves from Dex even with breakaways from AEDMHA leaves the score 1-0 at the end of the second.
Great offense and defense on all lines gives a goal to the Storm from Erik Johnson (8) with an assist from Curtis Bender. AEDMHA without a moment to lose, answers back making the score 2-1 for them.
Storm could not get another goal passed our opposer's goaltender and not for lack of trying.
It was a hard fought game, but a loss for LL2.
