Peewee C Girls, U13 (OMHA), 2012-2013 (Saugeen Shores Minor Hockey)

The Storm Pee Wee C Girls (sponsored by the Port Elgin Lions Club / Port Elgin Vet Clinic) achieved another milestone in their stellar 2012-13 campaign tonight (Feb 19) as they qualified for the OWHA Provincial Finals being held in our nation's capital in April.

Saugeen Shores has been chosen by the WOAA to host the 2012-13 Pee Wee Girls final tournament.  The tournament will be held during the weekend of March 23-24 at both the Plex and the Southampton Coliseum and will see 15 teams competing to determine the 2012-13 WOAA Champions in the Pee Wee Girls division. More details will be communicated in the coming weeks, but we will surely be looking for volunteers to help out.  

Another great hard working victory today as the Storm defeated the Rebels 2 -1 at the Plex. This was a close game with action at both ends of the ice. A Storm goaltender focussed on her job,  great defensive play and a couple of great goals made for a sweet victory. Good job Peewee Girls C ...

And what a battle it was.... End to end action ...two great teams ...awesome goaltending and lots of goals.....
