Our season began with the practice on Saturday, October 8, 2011. The coaching staff was impressed with the ability of the players, and the commitment of the parents to be there on Thanksgiving weekend! We have two more practices scheduled:
Saturday, October 15 at 1:00 pm at the Plex
Sunday, October 16 at 5:30 pm at the Coliseum
Please have your child there at least one half hour before the practice. Also, we have a mixed gender team - so it would be helpful to have your child already in the clothing they wear under their equipment before you get to the dressing room.
There is a league scheduling meeting this week, so we will be able to give you a good idea of the game and practice schedules at the Team Meeting Sunday after the practice.
Finally, we hope that this will be not only a good opportunity for your child to improve his/her hockey skills, but that s/he will have a fun and rewarding season.
