Written by Colin Morano After disposing of Goderich in the WOAA Semi-final the Saugeen Shores Storm Scoreboard Sports Too/Ralph’s Hi-Way Shopette Pee Wee AE team had a date with the three time defending WOAA Pee Wee AE Champion Listowel Cyclones in the 2011 WOAA Pee Wee AE final. The PeeWee AE Ralph's Hi-way Shopette/Scoreboard Sports Too won their first round of playoffs against Goderich in a best 2 out of 3 series.  Coming up short in the first game 7-3 at home, the Storm turned it around on the road for the next two games.  Game two 3-1 Storm.  Finding the net for Saugeen were Colton Heipel, Brendan Morano and Malcolm McIntosh with the empty netter.  Assists in the first game went to Colton McNabb, Chris Gilbert, Troy Courneyea and McIntosh.  The third and deciding game in Goderich went to the Storm 5-1.  Two goals each for Morano and Courneyea, and a single for ...

Written by  Deanna Courneyea Scoreboard Sports Too/Ralph Hi-Way Shopette PeeWee AE had a loss, a tie and two wins in the past week.  THe tem had a close loss against Brussels a the plex 4-3. Scoring for the Storm were Malcolm McIntosh, Dylan Pomroy and Troy Courneyea. Setting the boys up were Chris Gilbert, Kenneth Bollen, Carter Swanson and Courneyea.  In Brussels they tied 2-2 with Gilbert and Bollen getting the goals. Assists went to Courneyea and McIntosh.

The Saugeen Shores Pee Wee A/E started the year off on the right skate with a hard fought road win in Ripley.  It was a well played game noted for solid defense and a tenacious offense.  Goal scorers were Troy Courneyea (2), Dylan Pomroy, Malcolm McIntosh and Brendan Morano.  Final score of 5-3 for Saugeen Shores.   Great start to the season boys, keep it up!
