Novice LL#3 Comes Back for a Win
SSMHA Novice Storm LL#3 and the AE Ice Dogs #1 played an exciting game on Hallowe'en at the Plex. The Storm took an early lead in the game with Dane Heipel chipping one in with the help of Syklar Soini and Logan Lemcke. Dane came back and scored another to round out the first period with a 2-0 lead. The Ice Dogs worked hard and came back in the 2nd with 4 goals and took the lead 4-2. The Storm ramped up their team work in the 3rd period and scored 2 more by Heipel and 1 by Josh Neron with only 2:24 left in the 3rd period. Great defensive and offensive work by the whole team and awesome goaltending by Zach Campbell held the lead for the Storm for a final score of 5-4. Great game and teamwork by both teams - a real nail biter!
