Saturday, November 8, 2008 saw the Legault’s Independent Midget AE Storm defeat visiting Shallow Lake by a score of 5 – 1.
Shallow Lake was first on the scoreboard on a goal by Bellamy Mason at 7:52 of the first period, but the Storm would answer with 4 goals of their own, in the second period. Goals were scored by Cale Pyette, Darren Ritchie (2), and Kevin Bowman. Assists went to Dan Clazie, Hayden Burke (2), Ritchie, Pyette, Jordon Gibbons, Tyson Carter, and Gaige Jackson.
The Storm didn’t quit there, Lucas Ross scored assisted by Brannt Hall in the third to finish the scoring at 5 – 1.
The Storm’s next home action is Saturday, November 15/08 at 7:45 pm at The Plex against Arran-Elderslie.
