Coach 1
Thinking of coaching this year? Make sure you have completed a police check within the past 3 years, a Gender Awareness Course and the Respect in Sport Course. You will also need a minimum of Coach 1 for ANY level of hockey.
Coach 1 has an online 4 hour prerequisite before you can roster for the one day course. There are no local Coach 1 courses but you can travel to Barrie (Sept. 15), Sharon (Holland Landing/Newmarket) (Sept. 16), Hespeler (Sept. 29), Newmarket (October 14th), as well as other places further afield. You will need Coach 2 or higher for Atom and beyond.
