U13 Tier1 volunteered to support Salvation Army
On Friday, December 13, 2024, members of the U13 Tier 1 team, sponsored by the Port Elgin Legion, volunteered their time supporting the Salvation Army's Christmas Kettle Bell Campaign.

Players spent Friday evening greeting customers and manning the Salvation Army Kettle at Port Elgin Walmart. The Salvation Army’s Christmas Kettle Campaign is one of Canada’s largest and most recognizable annual charitable events. In addition to the critical fundraising impact of the Campaign, the Christmas kettles boost the Army’s visibility and awareness.

The U13 Tier 1 team wishes to thank the Salvation Army for allowing them the opportunity to volunteer and connect with the community.

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Hockey Days!
