The
Port Elgin and District Lions Club U15 C Girls travelled to Fergus this weekend to represent Saugeen Shores at the Grand River Mustangs Remembrance Day Classic.
After winning all three round robin games against Mooretown (2-0), TCDMHA (2-0) and Wallaceburg (3-0), the girls met our old friends from TCDMHA in the Sunday evening final. The girls finished off a perfect weekend with a 3-0 win in the finals to bring home the Championship!
The weekend saw balanced scoring coming from both lines, tough defensive play from the blue liners, and a special shout out to our Tendy, Camryn Stauffer, who did not give up a goal in the entire tournament.
