U11B (OMHA), U11 (OMHA), 2023-2024 (Saugeen Shores Minor Hockey)

This Christmas, members of the Saugeen Shores U11B team had the opportunity to volunteer for the Salvation Army. Our players volunteered their time at the Saugeen Shores Walmart Kettle which raised over $25,000 over the course of the campaign. All donations remain in town and support our local food bank. It was a humbling experience and reminded our players of the importance of being grateful for the opportunity to play hockey and the importance of always giving back. Wishing everyone a happy, healthy, and joyous holiday season! 

The U11B team has won their second tournament of the season, this time clinching the championship win a little closer to home, at the Wingham Regional Silver Stick Tournament. 

Our team faced formidable opponents including Lambeth, Mooretown and South Grenville in the round-robin stage. Despite the initial setbacks, we remained focused and determined. With each match, we grew stronger, adapting to different strategies and honing our skills on the ice. Our perseverance paid off, as we secured a commendable 3rd position in the round-robin play.
