U11 Rep B, U11 (OMHA), 2022-2023 (Saugeen Shores Minor Hockey)

Over the past weekend, the Unifor U11 Rep B team successfully clinched a birth in the OMHA Finals Tournament in Barrie this April. The team entered the weekend needing one win on Saturday or Sunday and in the end won both. After a slow start Saturday against Mid Huron, the storm righted the ship and took down the Huskies 11-3. This clinched the WOAA title. However, they were not done there. On Sunday the storm defeated the Kincardine Kinucks 6-0 with the help of a Ben Burnett-Scott shutout and a Hat Trick from Will Conley. The Unifor U11 Rep B team participated in the Vic Teal U11 A  division  tournament this week in St. Catharines, Ontario, and finished with a record of 5-0. Ben Burnett-Scott posted 3 shutouts, including a 6-0 win in the Championship game. The whole team came together as one, played hard, and each player contributed to the victory.
