Bantam BB, U15 (OMHA), 2013-2014 (Saugeen Shores Minor Hockey)

The Saugeen Shores Bantam BB Storm captured  the  W.O.A.A. Bantam Championship over the weekend with two impressive wins over the Wingham Ironman.   

Martin’s Home Hardware/Bicycle Shop Bantam BB hockey team just finished wrapping up their regular season and the focus of the team begins to shift to OMHA Playdowns and WOAA playoffs.  The Bantam BB will begin the first round of OMHA playdowns against the Erin-Hillsburgh Devils this week.  The Storm will hit the road for the first game of the series against the Devils in Erin on Sunday January 12th.  Game 2 is at home on Saturday January 18th 4:30pm at the Plex.   Come out and cheer on the Bantam BB Storm.  Go Storm Go!!  

October is Breast Cancer Awareness and Hockey Fights Cancer Month.  For 31 days in October, this annual campaign increases support and awareness of breast cancer. The Saugeen Shores Bantam BB team are doing their part to promote Breast Cancer Awareness.  The Storm players will be  using the pink tape on their sticks to increase awareness,  honour survivors and remember those lost to the disease during their regular season home opener vs BCH on Saturday October 26th at the Plex@5:45pm. 

The Martin's Bicycle Shop/ Home Hardware Bantam BB team along with other Saugeen Shore Storm teams are travelling to Kincardine on Saturday October12th to participate in "Hockey Day in Kincardine."   This event will showcase the talents of minor hockey players from Saugeen Shores and Kincardine as well as a Kincardine Bulldogs Alumni game and a Kincardine District Secondary School Alumni game.   "Hockey Day in Kincardine" is a fundraiser put on by the Kincardine Minor Hockey Association for to support Doug Kennedy, GM of the Kincardine Bulldogs and a supporter of youth in the community.    H ...

The Saugeen Shores Bantam BB team is participating in the 101.7 & Owen Sound Attack Hunger Campaign.   With Thanksgiving just around the corner, local Food Banks are in need of stocking their shelves.  The Bantams will be collecting canned items at their practices this week. Our team thought this would a great way to help those in need and give back to our community.
