Strong Start to 2011 for PeeWee AE

Scoreboard Sports Too/Ralph Hi-Way Shopette PeeWee AE had a loss, a tie and two wins in the past week. THe tem had a close loss against Brussels a the plex 4-3. Scoring for the Storm were Malcolm McIntosh, Dylan Pomroy and Troy Courneyea. Setting the boys up were Chris Gilbert, Kenneth Bollen, Carter Swanson and Courneyea. In Brussels they tied 2-2 with Gilbert and Bollen getting the goals. Assists went to Courneyea and McIntosh.
Back on the road the following night the Storm had a big win in Mitchell, a hat trick for McIntosh, Courneyea 2, and single goals to Colton Heipel and Colton McNabb. Final score 8-3.
Sunday at the Plex the PeeWee AE dominated Ripley 8-3. Sharing the net minding duties were Cameron Plante and Jake Ackert. Two goals each for Bollen and Courneyea, followed by McNabb, McIntosh, Swanson and Brendan Morano. With some nice passes coming from Dylan Polroy (2), Heipel, Bollen, Swanson, Courneyea, Morano and Jakob Greig. Strong defensive efforts through these wins by Duncan Wilkinson and Brennan Harvie, and good forechecking by Aiden Akerman.
After a game this Saturday in Listowel the PeeWee AE meet Goderich in the first round of Playoffs. Good Luck boys.
