CHANGING THE "WHAT IF'S?" to "WHAT WE DID!"
Although disappointed that the season ended early, the Lions Club Bantam B Girls team is very proud of their list of accomplishments for the 2019/2020 season.  With question marks around how this team would have competed in both their Lower Lakes series finale and April Provincials, we at least know that they had a shot at both!

Accomplishments:
1.  An impressive 28-9-5 record
2.  Scored over 100 goals, allowed only 40 (23 shutouts)
3.  Lost their first game of the season to Orillia, and never lost to them again

4.  The 5th ranked team in the Province according to MHR (my hockey rankings)
5.  Potentially going into Provincials as the #3 seeded team
6.  A 9 game winning streak
7.  Champions of The Kitchener Fallfest tournament
8.  8 out of the 9 losses came from teams that started with the letter "W"

9. Participated in running a hockey clinic for younger athletes and contributed volunteer hours as a team to "Saugeen Shares"

10.  Undefeated round robin at the Sarnia Silverstick, with an eventual loss in overtime to Wilmette (USA)

The team would like to thanks the Lion's Club for their generous sponsorship and wish everyone safety and health under this time of COVID-19.
