The Lions Club Bantam B Girls are off to the third round in Lower Lakes after a hard fought series over the Orillia Hawks. The Storm Girls took the 4 point series (5-1) with a win (2-1) on February 23, a tie (3-3) on February 29 and a 1-0 victory on March 1 to secure the series win.
On February 1st, 44 teams started playoffs in the Lower Lakes Bantam B division. Only 12 teams remain in the hunt for the title. The next round series schedule will be posted soon.
Up next are 2 OWHA provincial playdown games. Wednesday (March 4) is a 7:30 home game VS the Walkerton Capitals at the PLEX. Thursday (March 5) has the team in Owen Sound to face the Ice Hawks at 8:30 at the Julie MacArthur Arena.
