After going 0-17-3 to start the season, the Complete Floor
Atom HL Girls have finally broken into the win column with a 6-1 victory at the
41st Annual Orangeville Sweethearts tournament.
The Complete Flooring HL Girls Hockey team entered the tournament with a 3 game unbeaten streak with scores of 0-0, 1-1 and 0-0. Despite the league success, the Storm went 0-3 in their first three games of the tournament. All that changed as Penelope T. gave the Storm a 2-1 lead mid way through the second against the Orangeville Green team. Upon breaking the tie, the Storm continued to cruise on their way to 6-1 victory as they exited the tournament.
Great effort and physical play were on display by all the Storm players. Marykka P. scored her first hat trick of the season while Penelope T. notched two markers and Camryn P. had a loan goal, carrying the Complete Flooring Atom HL Girls to their first victory.
