OMHA FINALISTS!!!!
The Royal Canadian Legion Peewee B team SWEEPS Ennismore in OMHA semifinals!!
After the boys beat Mitchell in quarter finals round, they took to the ice battling Ennismore Peewee Rep for the top spot in the finals. Our kids came to play and took the series in 3 games!
Ennismore travelled to Port Elgin first for a Saturday/Sunday showdown and although the Eagles fought hard, STORM triumphed 3-0 and 6-3. The following weekend we headed to Ennismore ready to fight for the last win. STORM cheering squad was loud and proud, encouraging the players all the way to the end, with a 5-1 finish! As always, Keenan Bender and Kelvin Gottschalk defended the net strong in this series and made some amazing saves. The best thing about this series was seeing almost all players represented on the game sheets earning points to make the team advance.
