After defeating the Listowel Cyclones AE team one away and once at home, the next opponents were the Minto Mad Dogs. Playing the first game at home against the Mad dogs was exciting as the game required overtime to declare a winner. Winning 4-3 in overtime just seven seconds into the sudden death period was great. The team travelled to Harriston just two days later when they matched up against Minto again. This time the Storm walked away with a 6-1 victory. The last game to play in their series was played at home against the Arthur Vipers at the Plex on Saturday, and ended in a 6-4 victory. The last goal was had on an empty net. The points for these games were scattered throughout the team members.
After our last home game, the team gathered for an afternoon team social for some much deserved off ice fun at The Queen's bar and grill who sponsors the atom AE Storm team.
