OMHA Playoffs and Game One of WOAA PLayoffs
OMHA playoffs didn’t’ end the way the Atom AE was hoping.  Game six was tied after three periods and went into overtime.  Unfortunately for the team Kincardine scored in overtime therefore taking the series and moving on.

The Saugeen Shores Atom AE team started their WOAA playoffs on Saturday February 4th.  The team travelled to Listowel for their first game on Saturday for an early afternoon match up. Ozzie scored the first goal for the Storm near the end of the first assisted by line mates Charlie Bennett and Hunter Palinsky.

The second period of the game was an even battle, neither team advancing in goals.

The third period proved to be quite interesting.   Listowel scored near the start of the 3rd to make it a 1-1 game.    About half way through the period Ozzie scored his second goal of the game to make it a 2-1 lead for the Storm.  Assists went to his line mates Hunter Palinsky and Charlie Bennett.  The storm battled hard and tried to keep their lead.  With 39 seconds left on the clock there was a very questionable call made by the referees.  Kelvin stopped the puck to make a beauty save.  A Listowel player fell into him and pushed Kelvin into the net, even knocking the net off the posts.  The referee awarded this goal to Listowel which tied up the game at 2-2, forcing overtime.

About halfway through the period Emmett Jackson scored a beauty, and won the game for the team.
