The Storm Bantam B's regular season
drew to a close on Tuesday night (Dec 20) with a convincing 4-0 victory over
the Mount Forest Rams. The win was the fifth in a row for the Storm, who
completed the 16 game regular season with a very impressive 13-2-1 record.
The Storm will finish in the top 5 of the WOAA’s 23 team Bantam division, and their 93 regular season goals (an average of almost 6 goals per game) will likely hold up as the most in the league.
The team also enjoyed two tournaments this season, the first in Schomberg, ON and more recently in Niagara Falls, NY where they earned second place honours after a thrilling final game that ended in the fifth overtime.
The players and coaching staff will now take a well-deserved break over the Christmas holidays and look forward to the start of the playoffs in January.
