Storm girls earn comeback win over Ice Dogs
Sunday morning the Storm Novice girls took to the ice against the TCDMHA Ice Dogs in front of a capacity crowd at the Coliseum.

The Storm girls started the game out slow without one of their top goal scorers, Zoe who was home sick, going down 2-0 when goaltender Gracie settled in and was solid the rest of the game making big saves.  The girls were not without their chances though.  Autumn, Nabia and Caitlin had many breakaways but could not solve the Ice Dogs goalie.  The start of the second period was the Jayna show with 2 goals in the first minute with assists from Maeve, Nabia, Mykah, and Cheyenne.  With less than a minute in the second, the Ice Dogs regained their one goal lead.  11 seconds later, Jayna scored again to tie the game assisted by Caitlin and Meaghan.  Midway through the third period it was Jayna again with a goal to take the lead assisted by Serenity and Pincher.  The Ice Dogs were determined to tie the game in the final minute with their goal pulled, Serenity made a defensive game saving play to secure the victory for the Storm.  With steady fore checking by Ella, Camryn and Kylie the Ice Dogs were kept to the outside and unable to carry the puck. Way to go girls.
