Weekend Away Game Split
Last weekend our Storm Atom C Girls took to the ice in an away game split, with games in Mt Forest (win) and Durham (loss)
Halloween Saturday in Mt Forest saw Double L in her first appearance of the season between the pipes. Wheels opened up the 12-3 win with an unasssited goal in 1st period of play.Miss C quickly followed with a few more with assists from Digger and Sharkey. Thunder and Lightening struck the Mt Forest net hard with several goals a piece.The offence was held tight on the Mt Forest net with strong efforts from JC, Teddy and Duffy. Wiggy managed a break away and pressed right to the net. Smilie and Giggles.. what D!!! They worked hard keeping the puck clear of our end.
Sundays game found the girls in Durham against a strong West Grey team. The girls gave 150% the entire game. Lightening electrified the Durham net and then ...the strike that counted for 1.
What a game ... What a team. The entire coaching staff is incredibly proud of our girls!! Look out West Grey we will get you next time!!!
