PeeWee B Storm Advance in OMHA Playdowns
The Port Elgin Legion PeeWee B Storm advanced to the next round of the OMHA Playdowns on Sunday (Jan 17) with a thrilling come from behind overtime win over the Kincardine Kinucks at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine.
Down 2-0 in the second period, the Storm battled back in the third to force overtime. Storm defenceman Sam Flarity was the OT hero with a beautiful point shot that found its way into the back of the net, lifting his team to the next round, and ending the Kinucks OMHA playoff run.
The Storm will take on Listowel in the next round of OMHA play downs set to begin this week.
