Pee Wee C Girls Win Silver in Stratford
The Storm Pee Wee C Girls (sponsored by the Port Elgin
Lions Club / Port Elgin Vet Clinic) are bringing home a silver medal
from the 2013 Stratford Aces Festival Cup Challenge.
The girls lost a heartbreaker in the gold medal final game, dropping a 2-1 decision to the Belmont Blazers, whom they had tied earlier in the tournament.
On their way to the final game this afternoon (Nov 24), the girls had gone undefeated through the round robin, quarter and semi final games, beating teams from Wilmot, Ilderton, St. Thomas and the tournament host Stratford Aces.
This was a great showing for the girls in their first tournament of the year and all of their fans, friends and families are very proud of them!!
