The LL4 McNuggets started off by taking on the Shallow Lake Lakers 2 team Saturday evening at a home game in Port Elgin at the Plex. The McNuggets played a great game and defeated their shallow lake rivals 2-0 giving Doughboy him another shut out to add to his stats.
Will showed heart and got one goal and one assist for the team. Brandon got the second goal, and Lucas got one assist. Chris took home the game puck.
Sundays game was played against McKinnon's local league team LL2 and they are currently in first place overall in the standings. This was no easy ride for the top place team who had to give it all they had to beat our McNugget's. The only other team that has defeated them all season was our team. That being said, the final score was 4-2 in favor of McKinnon's LL2 team.
Honorable mentions for todays game are Lucas N. who scored both goals for the McNuggets. Chris and Emmett each got an assist during the game. Lucas M. got the game puck for his stellar goaltending. Good job Doughboy.
This completes our first session of the playoffs leaving the McNugget's with 4 wins and 2 losses. Future game slots are still to be determined.
