LL4 Maisie Trelford Ties AEMHA Ice Dogs
Saturday's game against the AEMHA Ice Dogs was clearly an even match as no goals were scored. Tying the game 0-0 was the final outcome of an otherwise great game.
The McNuggets were fortunate enough to use the Winterhawks dressing room to get ready for the match against the Ice Dogs at the Plex in Port Elgin Saturday afternoon. The team was thrilled to and it was a nice change over the regular rooms.
Once the ice there were many opportunities for scoring and this was one of the best games that the McNuggets have played. Lots of shots and plenty of passing were evident but the Ice Dogs had a goalie that would not give up. Kudos goes to the AEMHA goalie.
Although no goals were scored, there was one player on the LL4 McNuggets that stood out, attacking the opposition and passing the puck when he could. Brandon received the puck for player of the game and rightfully deserved. Great game Brandon!!
