Port Elgin Home Hardware/Dunlop Fuels Novice BB Storm Rains down on the Capitals
The Novice BB's finally had the start that they were looking for against the Walkerton Capitals in WOAA League play.
It only took 36 seconds for Dustin H to get the storm on the board with hard work in front of the net by Luke T and Jarrett T. From there the Storm never looked back with wave after wave of aggressive fore check and heads up play the Storm were able to net 2 more 1st period goals, One by Jarrett T. and one by Adam P. both unassisted. The 2nd period was more of the same with 3 unanswered goals by Dustin, Adam and Jarrett and assists going to Luke T, Wyatt M and Devin D. The 3rd period was lead by great defence and by the stand on his head goaltending of Keenan B. Late in the period it was the killer instinct of Sabra C picking up a hard earned goal in the slot with the assist going to Adam P. A special mention needs to go out to Cooper M who had a great game up on the right wing and to Finn Wyatt and Devin who had an absolute stellar game on defence. The Final score of this game being Storm 7 - Capitals 1. The Team has one more League game on Monday against the same Capitals team that will defentely be out for revenge before heading off to a Tournament next weekend in Beamsville.
