The Bantam Girls HL team came up against a different Georgian Shores Lightning team when they made the trip to Thornbury. In fact one Lightning player made a big single-handed difference with a 4 goal afternoon in the 5-0 game final.
The Strom Girls were also given a great show by their old
net-minder #19 - Sarah Underwood, who strapped on the pads for the first time
in over a year and did a fantastic job which the final score does not indicate,
but all in attendance were not short of compliments.
Once again, the Bantam Girls would like to thank their Storm
Pee Wee sisters and their parents that made the long drive to Thornbury: Teena
Ritchie, Eve Martin, Victoria Matheson and Tori Lammie.
