Novice LL 1, U8 & U9 (OMHA), 2012-2013 (Saugeen Shores Minor Hockey)

LL1 met up with Shallow Lake Lakers on Saturday Nov 24th for a nail bitting game. The game got off to a late start, and by the end of the first period Saugeen Shores onlly had one shot one net.

On Saturday, Nov 17, the Saugeen Shores Novice LL1 took on the undefeated Owen Sound Jr. Attack. The home side stretched out a three goal lead before Luke Thornley wrapped the puck around the back of the net to make it 3-1. Saugeen Shores produced a strong performance in the second period but just couldn't get past their strong defensive lines. During the third period Luke scored his second of the game off his own rebound. The game ended with a final score of 5-2. The entire team should be proud of how hard they worked during this hard fought game. Way to go guys! By Michelle McGregor
