Pee Wee defeat Mitchell in a decisive finish
The Saugeen Shores Legion PeeWee BB Storm played host to the Mitchell Meteors on Saturday afternoon. Their last meeting was a very close game with Mitchell getting the win so The Storm was looking to even the score.

The first period was as expected…a lot of back & forth action. It went by quickly and ended in a scoreless tie. Mitchell would open the scoring only a few minutes into the second. Less than a minute later, the Storm were on the power play. At the point, Jack Middleton would feed the puck down low to Ben Lalonde. Ben passed to Emma Vanhaelemeesch out front to tie the game once again. Tension started to build in the third. The Storm got a couple of quick penalties but managed to kill them off. Then Mitchell got into some penalty problems and the Storm took advantage. With five minutes left in the game, Sam Maksymyk passed to Emma Vanhaelemeesch who found Wade Kewageshig out front to take the lead. A few minutes later, Brayden Horseman got a little insurance with assists to Ben Lalonde & Nolan Dereski. The Storm got their revenge with a 3-1 win. A great team effort from Riley Johnson, Jack Kozelenko, Garrett Hall, Nic Matheson & Hunter Cannon and Christian Doubt was solid in net.
