Collingwood Forces a Fifth and Deciding Game
Location: Collingwood

The Saugeen Shores Martins’ Bike Shop Storm Midget BB's lost 3-2 to the Midget Collingwood Blackhawks Saturday night at the Eddie Bush Arena in Collingwood. The Storm and Blackhawks are now tied at two games apiece in their best-of-five OMHA Midget BB Group 4 Preliminary Round playoff series.

Collingwood jumped to a quick 2-0 lead on goals by Cam Goldsmith and Connor Annett.  Saugeen Shores narrowed the lead to 2-1 on a goal by Zach Walker.

After a scoreless second period, Collingwood held on to the 2-1 lead until there was 31 seconds left in the third when with goalie Brett McCulloch pulled for the extra attacker, Saugeen Shores scored to tie the game at 2-2.  Mitch Borden scored the tying goal for the Storm.

Unfortunately for the Storm, the elation was short lived as Collingwood came right back and scored 16 seconds later with only 15 seconds left on the clock to take a 3-2 lead.  Matt Griggs scored the winner for Collingwood.

Game 5 of the series is in Port Elgin at the 'Plex on Sunday February 5th, 2012. Gametime is 5:15 pm.
