Collingwood Wins Game 3 - Midget BB's Still Lead Series 2 Games to 1
Location: Port Elgin

The Saugeen Shores Martins’ Bike Shop Storm Midget BB's lost 7-4 to the Midget Collingwood Blackhawks Friday night at the ‘Plex in Port Elgin.  The Storm now have a two games to one lead in their best-of-five OMHA Midget BB Group 4 Preliminary Round playoff series.

Saugeen Shores had 3-1 and 4-3 leads but could not hold off Collingwood.

Scoring for the Storm were Ian MacKay with two(2) goals and singles by Garrett Lewis and Josh Perdue.

Collingwood goal scoring was lead by their captain, Ricky Darrell, with four(4) goals - one was into a empty net.  Matt Tipold scored two(2) goals for Collingwood and Dylan Sanderson scored once.

Collingwood Blackhawk goalie, Jay Payton, stopped the Storm's Ian MacKay on a penalty shot in the second period.

Game 4 in the best-of-five series goes (Saturday) 04 February 2012 in Collingwood at 5:10 pm.
