Bantam A/E advance to OMHA Quarterfinals
The Lakeshore Recreation/ Bruce County Physio Bantam A/E Storm played Collingwood in game 4 of the best of 5 series on Saturday at the Plex.

With a 2 games to 1 lead, the Storm were looking to close out the series with a win.  The Storm came out with some power in the first few minutes in the game, cycling the puck in the Collingwood zone. Four minutes into the game however, Collingwood would score the first goal giving them some momentum. Seconds later, Collingwood would open up a two goal lead. Just over a minute after falling behind by two, Charlie Wilkinson roofed a shot top corner to put the home team on the board. The Storm outplayed Collingwood in the second period, but the game remained 2-1 until late in the period when Collingwood would add an insurance marker heading into the third. Saugeen Shores came out buzzing in the final period, but they could not put anything up on the scoreboard. Their persistence was rewarded when, on the power play, Jake Dawson jammed in a rebound in front of the net with Aaron Kazimer assisting to tighten the game at 3-2. In the next play, Justin Lamont went on an end to end rush and fed Wilkinson in front who tied it 3-3 with his second of the game.  Neither team was able to break the tie and the game headed to overtime. The Storm won the draw and took the puck into the Collingwood zone. Lamont stopped a Collingwood clearing attempt at the blue line and sniped the puck stick side for a power play goal to give the Storm the game and a series victory.

Saugeen Shores won the series 3 games to 1. They will now play Bracebridge in the O.M.H.A quarter finals. Congratulations to all the players and coaches.
