Game 1 in Pee Wee AE playoff series ends in a tie
Game 1 in the Pee Wee AE's first play off series began Thursday night in Kincardine against the Kinucks.

The Storm came out blazing in the first period with a number of chances at the net but they were unable to put the puck through the pipes.  Goaltending was strong for the storm as well, with the period ending with a score of 0-0.
The second period proved to be a challenge for our Storm, with Kincardine netting the first goal scored by #2 Brett Colhoun, assisted by #12 Grant Stevens and #19 Jakob Dunlop.  The Kinucks kept the pressure on and put another one in the net, scored by #11 Ben Netzke and assisted once again by #12 Grant Stevens and #19 Jakob Dunlop.  Frustration starting to set in, the Storm sent 2 to the penalty box giving the home team Kinucks a 2 man advantage.  Saugeen Shores was able to hold them and killed off the penalties.
Persistance finally paid off when #19 Harrison Williams was able to fire one in from the blue line, assisted by #15 Captain Harrison Alvarez.  The Storm and the Kinucks started to feel the pressure of game one and both teams sent players to the penalty box.  The second period ended with the Storm down 2-1.
The third period proved challenging for both teams.  With four minutes left in the third period #6, Tristan Rajendra was able to even the score, assisted by #18 Harrision Williams, to send the game to overtime.
The 10 minute overtime period proved to be not long enough for either team to get the win, ending game one with a 2-2 tie.
Game 2 will bring the Kinucks to Port Elgin.  The puck drops at 6:45.
