PeeWee P.E. Legion Storm Advance in OMHA Playdowns to Semi-Finals
The Storm have won a close series versus Bracebridge, one where the first three games could have been won by either team.

The first game started with a seven goal first period with the Storm coming out of it with a 4-3 lead.  The Bears won the second period 2-1 and the third was scoreless, leading to an overtime period.  The Storm managed to pot the winning goal just past the halfway point of OT to take a 1-0 series lead.
Game two was another tightly played match, with the Storm taking the lead in the first and held off Bracebridge until 10 minutes into the third period.  The Storm scored three minutes later to pull out another victory and a 2-0 series lead.
Game three was played at the Plex after playing the first two in Bracebridge.  Both teams were feeling the emotional and physical effects of playing three games in three days.  The Storm took a 2-0 lead in the first, but suffered some defensive breakdowns in the second to allow Bracebridge to take a 3-2 lead.  The third was scoreless and Bracebridge was back into the series, now at 2-1 for the Storm.
Game four was a return match five days later in Saugeen Shores Southampton Coliseum.  The Storm came to the rink prepared to finish off the series and started off well with a 2-1 lead after the first period.  The Storm scored a goal in each of the next two periods to take the game 4-1 and the series 3-1.
This series was won via a team effort and all played a part in their success.  Congratulations boys!  The Storm will now be going up against Lindsay in the OMHA Semi-Finals.
