The Legion Storm manhandled Walkerton lead by Steven Langendoen who was golden with 4 goals & 4 assists sparking the team to a 10-1 win.
Jake Dawson followed netting 2 goals while Eric Langridge, Jordan Vanhaelemeesch, Ben Van Ooteghem and Troy Contois added singles. Charlie Wilkinson lead assists with 4 with Aaron Miller, Hayden Duplantis and Wyatt Lablance getting in the action with an assist. Aaron Cruchley and Luke Schmalz shared goalie duty and stood tall in net for the win.
The Storm travelled to Mitchell for a 7-3 win. Charlie Wilkinson scored the first 2 goals assisted by Langendoen and Vanhaelemeesch. The roles were reversed for the next with Langendoen scoring from Wilkinson and Vanhaelemeesch. Troy Contois followed suit with a goal and Jake Dawson assisting only to see Dawson score next assisted by Contois and Aaron Miller. Mitchell finally scored in the 3rd but Connor Speer responded to end the game on a high note.
The Legion Peewee Storm came out firing when Listowel came to town .The end to end action was scoreless until 7 minutes in the 1st period when Charlie Wilkinson found the back of the net with his first of the night. Listowel responded quickly to tie it up.
Ben Van Ooteghem scored just 26 seconds into the second to start an 8 goal period. Listowel came back to tie it up but Steven Langendoen got in on the action to go ahead 3-2. Wilkinson netted his second goal to put Storm ahead 4-3. The action continued as Langendoen responded to get the go ahead goal for 5-4 and Van Ooteghem added some padding to end the second. In the 3rd Listowel came back to even the score 6-6 until Austin Henry’s shot set up Van Ooteghem for the game winner.
