Dunlop Fuels/Home Hardware Novices display strong team play in Durham
Storm Novice Rep played in the Durham Huskies Tournament on Saturday and came way with a 1-1 record and just falling short of an appearance in the Championship Final.  The Storm played an consistent game throughout the day with solid team play and passing.  Storm defensive trio, Jack Middleton, Nolan Dereski & Issac Fewster worked well together clearing the puck from our zone and setting up their wingers.  Austin Fewster played a solid game in net making key saves on scrambles in front of the net.  Game One summary....



Game 1 
Saugeen Shores 5   vs  Goderich 4

The Storm lead for most of the game when Goderich tied the game 4-4 at 4:21 in the third period.  
Saugeen Shores Trevor Donaldson scored a power play goal with 4 seconds left in the game with assists going to Justin Marlowe and Sam Maksymyk.

Saugeen Shores 3 vs BCH 6 

With the drop of the puck, the Storm dominated the first & second period  and the result was a  2-1 lead over the BCH Icedogs. The Storm Novices continued their strong team play, defense and passing into the third until  the Icedogs added 4 goals before the Storm managed to score one more with a minute left in the game.
