Atom AE down Listowel with a shut-out
The Atom AE Rosner/Krown travelled to Listowel to face the Cyclones for the first game of the WOAA finals and brought home the win 4-0!!!!
Rosner/Krown started the final series with a lean team only 9 skaters due to an injury, that didn't hold back the Storm the boys where determined and played hard. Storm got on the board in the 1st with a goal from Will Rickerby assisted by Nick Lammie and only a couple minute later Nick Lammie smoked one by the Cyclones goalie assisted by Malcolm McIntosh and Kenneth Bollen. The Storm only had 3 defence Kelly Cobean, Brennan Harvie and Jake Greig who played extremely well to hold off the Cyclones. In the 2nd period Korey Thomas and Nick Lammie got the only goals assisted McIntosh, Rickerby and Murray Martin. Jake Ackert in net held off the Cyclones who couldn't get the puck by our goal tender. The 3rd period had 0 goals with many chances by the Cyclones but Ackert held on for the SHUT_OUT!!!!!
