On Saturday Jan 17 the Atom AE team travelled to Goderich to start there series.  Nick Lammie got his first of the weekend to get Saugeen Shores on the board early in the game, with a quick pass from Jakob Greig.  Both teams played strong defence to keep the score 1-0 until early in the third period Murray Martin tipped the rebound from Malcolm McIntosh and Korey Thomas to put us up 2-0.  The Sailor quickly answered back with a high shot to the top corner. the final score was 2-1 for Saugeen Shores.

The Sailors travelled to the plex on Sunday to meet up again.  Brennan Harvie on defence started the Storm off towards there victory with a unassist goal.  Goderich answered back with a scramble infront of the net and tipped it passed Ackert.  The Storm fought back with a goal from Nick Lammie assisted by Will Rickerby.  Nick didn't stop there he was determined and got his second goal, assisted by Korey Thomas.  Lammie then found himself with a hat trick after great speed and good team work(assisted by Will Rickerby) The Storms strong defence Kelly Cobean, Cole Fraser, Jakob Greig and Harvie all worked hard to keep the puck out of our end.  Jake Ackert showed great strength in net while Kenneth Bollen, Murray Martin forced the play with lots of speed.  The final goal for the Storm was awarded to Malcolm McIntosh assisted by Korey Thomas.  Storm won 5-1.  Next game in Goderich on Friday night.
