Midget BB Record at 12-5-3
Having played 20 league, tournament and exhibition games, the Midget BB record stands at 12-5-3.  They've demonstrated that they skate with any team they face but need to focus on playing good, fast hockey and avoiding the penalty box and suspensions.

Their first loss of the season occurred November 1st against a solid squad from Listowel (5-2).   They bounced back with a 5-1 victory over Mitchell and then headed to Listowel for a much anticipated rematch.  After 2 periods the score was even at 4-4 but the wheels fell off in the third as the boys played their worst period of the year.  The final score was 9-4 and it was ugly.

The boys then headed to Mooretown to play Essex, Mooretown and Sarnia.  Despite a very short bench due to football conflicts (11 and 10 skaters) the Storm put together 2 gutsy performances yielding both times in the third period (4-2 and 5-3).  With the return of the pigskin boys on Sunday the team jumped off to a 3-0 lead against Sarnia but ran into serious penalty trouble in the third.  The final tally was a 4-3 loss and the need for a players meeting was identified.

Since the melee in Mooretown the team has responded with 2 decent games (6-4 over Hanover and 4-3 over Goderich).  On the horizon is a feisty squad from Mildmay and a rematch against Hanover followed by a trip up north to play in Parry Sound.  Confirmed opponents are Barrie, Hamilton and Bradford.  Stick to hockey boys and we'll do well.

Good luck to the Ladies in the Silver Stick.
