The Saugeen Shores Port Elgin Physiotherapy - Lakeshore Recreation Bantam AE Storm hosted game one of the WOAA Final against Listowel on Sunday, January 23/09 at the Plex.
Josh Perdue (2), Chris Van Ooteghem, Spencer Schill, Tyler Middleton, Justin Proulx, and Travis Murray all scored goals for the Storm on the way to a 7-1 victory. In fact all thirteen skaters picked up at least one point in the game for the Storm while goaltender Connor Schmalz continued his consistent play allowing just one goal.
With the win the Bantam AE team extended their winning streak to 7 games including a sweep of Goderich in the first round.
Game two of the series will be Saturday at 11am in Listowel before returning home for game three on Monday, February 2 at 8pm at the Southampton Coliseum.
