U11B Volunteer for Salvation Army Food Bank
This Christmas, members of the Saugeen Shores U11B team had the opportunity to volunteer for the Salvation Army. Our players volunteered their time at the Saugeen Shores Walmart Kettle which raised over $25,000 over the course of the campaign. All donations remain in town and support our local food bank. It was a humbling experience and reminded our players of the importance of being grateful for the opportunity to play hockey and the importance of always giving back.
