Update on the SSMHA Novice LL Dev Program
Submitted By Ray Hall on Monday, November 16, 2009
As the hockey season progresses the improvement in individual skills is having a positive affect on the Saugeen Shores teams participating in the WOAA Novice Local League North Division. This improvement is being witnessed each week and in each game being played. These sessions are supplementing each team's personal practices that are run by their respective coaches with their particular content at the purview of that coach. In contrast, the Development Program provides instruction to all teams equally and at the same time. The coaching staff from each team augments this Program. This augmentation staff is headed by Chris Hall, however, we are always in need of assistance. If you feel that you have something to contribute and are not on a novice LL's team coaching staff, please contact Chris and let him know of your interest([email protected] or 519-483-2810). To date the average weekly attendance is running above 80% of those registered with the SS teams. Considering the present flu season and other reasons for absences, these numbers are very encouraging.
