Atom LL Make It 2 in a Row

Atom LL make it two in a row. The boys were back on home ice taking on Bruce Peninsula Saturday, looking to build on their road win in Shallow Lake.
The Storm roared out of the gate lead by Jonah Neron who was unstoppable in the first, firing 4 goals to pace the Storm to a big lead. Tenacious puck pursuit exemplified by the defence of Koby Kimewon and Jackson Barber helped hold Bruce Peninsula scoreless into the second.
Hard work paid off for Braeden Ashton, who hit the post earlier, with a goal to extend the lead to 6-2 after 2. Bruce Peninsula wasn't done however and rallied to tie the game 6-6 with a quick flurry of goals.
The boys showed good team character though, and bounced back to score through Wade Kewageshig. Strong goaltending down the stretch by Austin Fewster helped seal the 8-6 victory.
