The Storm opened the tournament with a 5-1 win over Collingwood. It was a close game through the first two periods, with Collingwood scoring first on a power play goal in the first period.
Saugeen tied it in the second period on a power play goal from Ben Van Ooteghem – assists coming from Austin Henry and Wyatt LaBlance.
The third period saw Van Ooteghem score the next two goals. Steve Langendoen scored the Storm’s fourth goal with an assist from Van Ooteghem. LaBlance scored the final goal with assists from Jordan Vanhaelemeesch and Connor Speer.
