WOAA WALKERTON VS SAUGEEN SHORES

The Saugeen Shores C.A.W. (Port Elgin) Storm Bantam 'A's and the Walkerton Joy Source for Sports Capitols played a home and home series in their first round of WOAA B-BB Group Playdowns.



On Thursday in Walkerton, the teams played to a 4-4 tie. Saugeen Shores goal
scorers were Stephen Pilar, Matthew Teschke, Daniel Buerger and Matt Shields. Scoring for Walkerton were Patrick Walsh, Brendan King, Cole Alexander and Josh Busby.

Saturday’s game in Port Elgin was a 6-4 win for Saugeen Shores. Scoring for the Storm were Josh Perdue with two(2) goals and singles by Matt Shields, Chris Van Ooteghem, Stephen Pilar and Daniel Buerger. Walkerton’s goal scorers were John Ringel with two(2) goals and singles by Lance Rock and Josh Busby.

Saugeen Shores next plays Goderich and Mitchell, both in a similar home and home series format.
