Sailorettes Calm The Storm
After scoring the first goal at the end in the first period, the Goderich Sailorettes got a quick goal back at the start of the second. The Midget C Storm then ran into penalty trouble. After killing 3 straight penalties, the tired Storm ladies gave up a goal that proved to be the winner with one minute left in the second. Two short-handed breakaway chances by the Storm late in the third were quelled by the Goderich netminder. The ladies will see this first place team again in the Silver Stick tournament.
