09-10 PeeWee LL - Pee Wee LL Storm Defeat Bruce Peninsula 2
The Power Workers' Union/Meridian Credit Union Pee Wee LL Storm defeated Bruce Peninsula in the first game of a round robin playoff series Wednesday, March 3rd, winning 3-0.
The game remained scoreless until the third period, when Austin Morris got the first goal of the game. Harrison Williams, followed 6 minutes later, scoring two fast goals back-to-back. Assists were made by Dan Hilbers (1), Ben Vecchies (1), Terrence Johnson (2) and Ethan Ritchie (2). Mike Bohnert, Brennan Harvie and Carter Swanson were strong defenders, making some great passes to their offensive lines and keeping the puck in the opponents’ end. Thomas Forsythe and Tyler Muzzell forced Bruce Peninsula #2 to pick up the speed and stay on the puck the entire game, setting up some great plays for the team. Brady Conley and Richard Besito were solid between the pipes, resulting in a shutout win of 3-0.
The Pee Wee LL Storm face the Bruce Peninsula #2 March 4th in Southampton at 6:30.
